The Fins' explosive performance of dynamic rock is making a name for them with the press, the industry and audiences across the UK and abroad.

"quite simply joyous, guitar driven rock and roll… has mosh pit stamped all over it" Rockbeatstone

This Farnborough based 5 piece now have 7 UK tours and nearly 200 gigs behind them.

" [they] set the stage alight" Guilfest

2009 was a busy year with more writing, gigging and recording than ever. The Fins released Concrete Shoes, a taster track from their forthcoming album as a free download.

"Everything about The Fins is guitar driven, even down to the blunt lyrics that serve only to highlight their angsty beats." The Mag

By engaging with their audience, The Fins make new fans everywhere they go. In addition to selling out headlining gigs, in July they were sole support for Supergrass and earlier in the year, toured with The Rifles. 2010 looks set to be better than ever with the release of The Fins first album. They’ve already been playing many of the new tracks live with great success. It’s edgy, it’s electric, it’s moody and melodic.

"The Fins rock with thunderous drive and gritty finesse;" Toxicpete

The Fins aren’t shy of live TV and Radio as their interviews and performances show. They are a popular choice with broadcasters for their spontaneous humour and clear camaraderie, which surprises, given the sometimes menacing nature of their lyrics.

With indie label Numerical Blue, The Fins successfully tested the market for recorded music, selling out on pre-sales alone with their first single Adaptor in October 2008. The accompanying Adaptor video was produced by industry professionals giving their time freely for the worthy cause of The Fins. It has been seen by thousands, bringing new followers from as far away as Australia through Rage TV.

"Dynamic stab at grunge rock, brooding vocals, swishing rhythms, an almost Indie-disco beat-mightily impressive!" Subba Culture

The Fins are:
Ryan - lead singer: How do you describe a unique sound? Probably too handsome for his own good.
Macca – guitar: The guy who ‘just turned up one day’. Radiates genuine guitar genius to transfix the audience.
Rauf – bass: Clever than ever song-writer. Looks moody but has been known to bounce on stage, whilst singing backing vocals.
James – acoustic: Ever the showman, always itching to get on stage with his guitar.
Lawrence – drums: Wickedly sharp and well respected drummer. Has been likened to a cross between Taz and Animal but has a grin wider than the Atlantic.
